My thoughts about the recent Olympiad 2012

Hi all

I don’t know about you lot, but I really enjoyed the last Olympiad just gone. Some brilliant play from Aronian, Kramnik, Ivanchuk and others as expected. The race was tense until the very final round, where China on the verge of winning the event, had to face the mighty Ukraine team – and losing this match meant that Ukraine came 3rd, and China 4th.

Really I would like to go over some key interesting games from the Women’s Olympiad soon as well.

There is so much instructive and fun chess material in these games, to yet explore, and I hope to continue my explorations in the coming days and weeks.

Best wishes
